On Tuesday night January 15th 2008 a large number of concerned locals met in Rossan Church to discuss what action could be taken to get Mass back to Rossan church. A committee was formed and a letter was drafted and sent to Bishop Colm O'Reilly. We are still awaiting a reply. The following is a draft of the letter sent:

Dear Bishop Colm We the Rossan Church Committee respectfully request a meeting with your Excellency to discuss your recent decisions regarding the weekend arrangements at St. Stephen’s Church Rossan. In the meantime our congregation will gather to recite the Holy Rosary at 9.30am every Sunday. We trust you will agree to meet us at your earliest convenience.
